by Kurt Iverson Comedian, Steve Byrne, asked me to edit audio gathered from club performances into a single, live performance CD. With some help from some photographer friends in NYC, I also designed the packaging for the CD. This was Steve's first CD. And yes, I totally put my name in the shout outs!

by Kurt Iverson This is was a project for one of the execs at Aquila. It was a going away present but we wanted it to contain some meaningful items. We included a screenshot (wrinkled and soaked in coffee) of the performance measuring tool that he implemented, a copy of the common stock document at the time, a glass rock from the power plant where he started, some of his first notes as an engineer, and other symbols that represented key moments of his work at Aquila. This was probably one of my favorite Aquila projects. I designed the glass etchings to represent the 3 locations he worked, including the power plant and Aquila's headquarters. The piece also needed to include a quote from the exec, so I placed it across the top. All the etchings were placed on the glass layer. The next layer down was a black frame. The 3rd layer contained the 2 documents, the 6 Sigma symbol, and Aquila's icon behind the eagle. Finally, the bottom layer contained a stylized versions of some of his first notes as an engineer along with the mounted piece of glass (molten material that is cooled and discarded from the power plant.)

A. This is the complete shadow box.
B. Close up of skyline etching on left corner.
C. Close up of power plant etching on right corner.
D. Close up of Aquila HQ building with mounted rock and stylized notes in background.

by Kurt Iverson Friend, Willie Aames, was not happy with his publisher's design work on the cover of his and his wife's first autobiography/tell all.
