Well, for starters, let me give you a quick rundown of notables I've done sites for in the past but have since moved on: Jay Mohr, Joe Matarese, Matt Bellace, Anthony Michael Hall, Adam Ferrara (currently doing animations for him)
Current sites you can look at with a little background:
The Business Shrink In addition to managing the radio show, which only recently began airing again, I was in charge of all the creative aspects of the site, viral videos, articles, traffic and syndication, email marketing and product development. I utilized the Ning platform to accomplish much of the social networking aspects. Being live only a short time, we fell victim to major setbacks when Ning axed their main widget maker, Widget Laboratory. Some of our main functionality will be restored in early September.
Bill Burr
I have worked with Bill for many years now. I was the first to bring animated shorts to comedians' web sites through his first interactive Web site. The current site is the 3rd rendition. I implemented the design from a 3rd party and employed a PHP programmer and Flash Components for many of the interactive elements. Like with other comedians, I make it a point for the comedian to be able to update many of the non-static elements of the site (video clips, photos, bio, blogs, etc.) through non-programming means. For instance, Bill can update the dates on his site through a simple PHP/MySQL script in a separate area. In addition, he can add pre-sized photos, set titles and set descriptions through another interface, updating an XML document that feeds the gallery. Good times.
Robert Kelly Live
Robert is a long time friend and one of the first comedians I worked with after a short stint with Dane Cook. Since then, I've done several Web sites for Robert and introduced his presence on the web with many firsts (rotoscoped him walking across the screen before it was being done, popped him up on MySpace before many of the headlining comedians go there, set him up with a social networking site before any other comedian:
Found here. I've filmed videos, created animations, done audio blogs, co-written screenplays, designed and edited his first CD, designed the cover for his 2nd CD, and helped him lead the charge in comedian's presence online and in print with a plethora of design projects.
Elisabeth Rohm I first started working with Elisabeth Rohm while she was filming with Anthony Michael Hall in upstate New York. The three of us were co-writing a screenplay together that would be based in Monaco. A couple years later, I'm designing her first Web site, pulling in photos and videos from across the net.
Steve Byrne Comedian, Steve Byrne, is also an old friend who I met through Robert. I met most of my comedian friends through Robert. I've also done videos for Steve, a couple revisions of his Web site and a host of design work.
The Survivor Mitzvah Project I began working with this non-profit group while working on another one of their projects,
Stomp The Run. They needed an eye-catching, emotionally stirring intro along with an informational site. They used PayPal to avoid any monthly expenses and I implemented the ordering capability into the site.
Gateway High School Class of 1989 This social networking site is most definitely a labor of love. Working with an old friend and programmer, we set up Gallery 2 functionality on a separate site and pulled the galleries into the Ning platform.
